UOL launches photoblog service to subscribers

After UOL Blog, launched in January 2004, UOL premieres a new online diary service - UOL Photoblog -, that describes the internauts' daily life through photos, instead of texts.

Exclusive for subscribers of UOL - the first Brazilian access provider to offer this service -, UOL Photoblog is very easy and fast to use. The subscriber doesn't need to have any knowledge of html (the language to create web pages) or to know how to treat and cut photos. The system makes it all automatic. All the UOL Photoblog user has to do, basically, is to publish his or her photos just as they are downloaded from the digital camera.

To customize the diary, one may choose the photoblog's layout from a web page with more than 20 original models. The subscriber may also post a profile, to announce his or her current state of humor, and a list of favorite photoblogs.

There are also interactive resources, such as comments to each picture, with options to subscribers to answer to each of them, to vote and to indicate the photoblog to other site regulars.

The space offered to post pictures varies according the subscription plan: 30 MB, 50 MB, or 100 MB. Large and heavy images are optimized by UOL Photoblog's system to perfectly fit in the chosen model, without compromising navigation.
